Disisipkan Ayat Quran 'Arab Money' Jadi Lagu Rap Kontroversial

Para pecinta music Rap dan Hip Hop pasti tahu rapper terkenal seperti Busta Rhymes, Akon, P Diddy, Lil Wayne, Swizz Beatz, T-Pain dan Ron Browz. Walaupun video klip mereka di Youtube tidak sedasyat rapper Eminem yang mampu mengundang ratusan juta klik di Youtube, tapi para rapper tersebut sudah menancapkan cakar yang kuat di industri musik Amerika terutama aliran Rap dan Hip hop bahkan P Diddy (mantan suami Jennifer Lopez), Akon, Lil Wayne, Swizz Beatz adalah termasuk rapper terkaya versi majalah Forbes.

Walaupun Busta Rhymes belum masuk daftar Rapper terkaya tahun 2012 ini tapi dia sudah banyak menghasilkan lagu yang ngetop salah satunya lagu We Made It yang berkolaborasi dengan Linkin Park. Jika para rapper itu berkolaborasi maka mereka akan melahirkan karya kreatif contohnya lagu remix Arab Money karya Busta Rhymes.

Sebenarnya lagu Arab Money dibuat oleh Busta Rhymes yang bernama asli Trevor Tahiem Smith pada tahun 2009 untuk albumnya Back to BS tapi lagu tersebut disisipkan ayat Al Quran seperti Bismmilahhirahmanirahim, Alhamdulillah, Asalamualaikum warahmatullahiwabarakatuh sehingga lagu itu mengundang kontroversi dan album Busta Rhymes Back To BS dilarang edar disebagian Negara Arab (United Arab Emirates) selain itu lagu Arab Money dilarang diputar diberbagai club dan radio di Dubai.

Karena mengundang kontroversi dan dilarang edar (banned) lagu itu sempat di remix lagi sebanyak 2 kali pada tahun 2009 dengan menampilkan rapper lain seperti P Diddy, Akon, Lil Wayne, Swizz Beatz, Ron Browz dan T Pain dengan berbagai versi baru hingga saat ini lagu Arab Money baik versi asli dan versi remix masih mengundang komentar pro dan kontra di Youtube. Bahkan lagu tersebut menjadi salah satu lagu tema untuk game terkenal Grand Theft Auto IV.

Sebenarnya tidak ada kata-kata yang kasar dalam syairnya hanya para rapper ini menyindir gaya hidup para milyader Arab yang wah dan hobi mengoleksi mobil mewah. Videoklipnya (versi Asli non remix) juga tidak menampilkan sesuatu yang vulgar tentang Arab hanya digambarkan seorang pria kaya berwajah Arab didampingi 2 wanita cantik.  Tapi rupanya lagu itu membuat berang sebagian umat Muslim padahal apa bedanya dengan lagu Maher Zain dan Rapper Malaysia Too Phat yang menyisipkan ayat Quran dalam lagu-lagu mereka? Apa karena lagu-lagu Maher Zain dan Too Phat TIDAK  berisi sindiran pada gaya hidup orang Arab melainkan pujian terhadap kebesaran Allah? padahal setelah ditelusuri ternyata Busta Rhymes dan Akon adalah rapper Muslim. Seandainya para rapper itu menyisipkan ayat Quran pada lagu yang bersifat pujian pada kebesaran Allah mungkin lagu mereka tidak akan dicekal.
